Premier/Gottlieb
RockRock was
released in October of 1985. It was designed by John
trudeau and the art work was done by Larry Dayl.
My
first Premier/Gottlieb system 80(b) pinball machine. the
power supply seems to be much improved over earlier
designs from what I can tell. This one had a bad display
chip and some problems with the game ROM daughter card on
the CPU board.
No
voice, just (rather tame) synthetic rock and roll. Nine
drop targets, two spinners, a stand up target and a mini
playfield make up this one ball game. There are some
small rewards for hitting the lit drop target. More shot
making than flow on this one. You can shoot up the left
to get to the mini playfield, go for the lower drop
targets, hit the loop to add letters, hit a target or go
up the right side to the roll overs.
